Breadalbane is not a part of Scotland normally associated with Morrisons, but ...

I just finished reading a reprint of William Gillies' book "In Famed Breadalbane". In it Gillies mentions that one Murdoch Morrison was the minister of the church in Lawers from 1878 through 1888. He also mentions a son, A. J. Morrison, who at the time of writing (1937) was one of the ministers in Aberdeen.

Gillies also mentions, under the surname "Morison" (gaelic Mcillemhoire); in 1585 Donald McIllvory in Acharn - in 1769 Duncan Morison in Morenish. Acharn and Morenish are areas in Breadalbane. That's all I know, but I decided to post in case someone else was looking for some of this information!

Oh, yes, as far as I know, none of these people are my family.
